non-venomous snake. It is commonly mistaken as the
venomous Water Moccasin, for they look very similar
and are both water snakes. The Brown Water Snake can
be very aggressive if threatened, like most water snakes.
It is best to leave a water snake alone for it is hard to
tell the venomous apart form the non-venomous.
