I love snakes, I think snakes are gorgius creatures, I think emerald tree boas are the angles of the snake world.what do think would be the best and safest pet snake for kids?

i found a snake on our front porch a couple days ago. wasn’t sure if it was poisionous or not so i killed it. We have 3 small girls that play with everything that moves. I found a baby snake in the back yard that looked very similiar to the one on the front porch. From looking at your site it looked kinda like a brown snake or brown garter snake. I’m not really for sure. If I find another one can I send you a picture so maybe you can help me with this? Linda

Great site Josh! Very informative. I have found snakes in my yard before and not been able to find sites to help me identify them. Your site seems to have it all. Great stories, great info on different types of snakes and help in identifying one. Keep up the good work!
