General description:
Being one of the largest and most heavy bodied snakes in
North America, the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake
is also a highly venomous snake that can deliver an extremely
painful bite. It holds the world record at 8 feet long,
ranking as one of the longest snakes in North America.
It is colored from gray to various shades of brown. It has black
diamonds shapes down the center of its back with a white outline
of the shapes. It has a rattle at the tip of its tail.
