Can be found: Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho

Short description: non-venomous, no neck, rounded head, typical, smooth scales, rounded pupils

General description:

The Ground Snake is a non-venomous snake. It

is a small snake that prefers dry areas with sandy

soil. This snakes coloration is tan, brown, orange, 

or grey. Its markings can be just a plain color or can

have black bands. This snakes belly coloring is white

or a cream color.
