The Lyre Snake is a non-venomous snake. Its color

is black with brown blotched, with stripes on its sides.

The snakes belly is a light cream color. This snake can

easily be confused with a venomous snake, for its coloration

and pattern. Also because of its eyes. As the other

non-venomous snakes have rounded pupils, the Lure Snake

 has Vertical Shaped ones.
