Pine Woods Snake

Pine Woods Snake ~ Rhadinaea flavilata

  • Adult body length: 10-15 inches
  • Body length at birth: 2 - 5
  • Breeding period: May to August
  • Young per year: 2 - 4 young per year
  • Typical foods: frogs and lizzards

The Pine Woods Snake is a non-venomous snake.

Its color varies from a golden to a reddish brown.

These snakes are usually one foot. It normally hide

in logs and stumps. When threatened, it normaly

flees in to hiding. It usually will not bite a human.
