Short description: venomous snake, broad headed, triangular head, stout, keeled scales, rattle on tail, vertical pupils

General description:

The Red Diamond Rattlesnake, is one of the largest

rattlesnakes in its range. This snake can be easily

reconized for its reddish or tannish coloration, with

light edged diamond shaped marking goind down its

back. The juvenile start off grey and become redder as

they get older. The Red Diamond Rattlesnake is a

venomous snake. When encountered they can be

 aggresive, but some don’t even rattle.
